He completed his M.Sc in Physics with a specialization in Electronics and Photonics, Condensed Matter Physics from Tezpur University, Assam, India, and obtained his B.Sc in Physics from Gauhati University, Assam, India. 📚


👨‍🏫 Dr. Borah has an extensive professional experience spanning over two decades. He currently serves as an Associate Professor of Physics at the National Institute of Technology Nagaland, India. Previously, he held positions as an Assistant Professor of Physics at the same institution, a Junior Technical Superintendent at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, and as a Lecturer of Physics at various institutions in India. 🏫

🔬 Dr. Borah’s research interests encompass several areas including the development of magnetic nanoparticles for magnetic hyperthermia applications, application of Density Functional Theory (DFT) for calculating electronic and magnetic structures, exploration of non-rare earth materials for permanent magnet applications, and research into 2D magnets. 🧲
