She earned her Ph.D. in Botany from Panjab University, Chandigarh, from 2013 to 2018, showcasing her dedication to advancing botanical knowledge. Prior to this, she obtained her M.Sc. in Botany from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, in 1997, and her B.Sc. in Medical from Panjab University, Chandigarh, in 1995. Complementing her botanical expertise, Dr. Bajwa holds qualifications in education, including a B.Ed. in 1999 and an M.Ed. in 2010, both from Panjab University. Additionally, she has enhanced her skills through a Certificate Course in Basic Languages (Computer Science and Application) from Panjab University, Chandigarh. 🎓

Before her university roles, she served as a dedicated educator at KB DAV School, Sector 7, Chandigarh, from March 2011 to March 2013, and at Bhai Gurdas Model High School, Gurdaspur, Panjab, from November 2004 to March 2007.
