Dr. Shaman completed his Doctorate in Electrical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK in November 2008. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the same institution in July 2005. Additionally, he holds an Associate Degree in Electronics and Computer from High-Tech Institute, Phoenix, USA (May 2002), and an Associate Degree in Electronics from Technical Community College, Dammam, Saudi Arabia (April 1994).

Dr. Shaman has held several key positions throughout his career. Since March 2021, he has been the Director of CMST at KACST, where he oversees strategic initiatives and organizational development. From April 2015 to present, he has served as Principal Investigator at CMST, leading projects on subsurface imaging and millimeter-wave radar. Previously, he managed systems engineering processes at ASED, KACST from March 2012 to March 2021 and served as Chief Systems Engineer for the National Satellite Technology Program from August 2010 to March 2012. His career began as a Communication Officer at the Saudi Ministry of Interior, where he managed communications equipment and projects from July 1995 to March 2010.
