Experience

👨‍🔬 As a diligent Senior Resident in the Department of Biochemistry at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences since December 2023, I contribute significantly to molecular research. My role involves mentoring and conducting experiments for medical students, focusing on Alzheimer’s, T2DM, and kidney diseases. Previously, as an Applications Biochemist at the Central Research Laboratory (January 2022 – November 2023), I conducted impactful GC-MS/MS studies on pesticides and food additives. During my tenure as a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Pathology (November 2018 – November 2021), I actively participated in research endeavors, ensuring lab safety and contributing to scientific publications. 🧪🔬

Education

🎓 Completing my Doctoral of Philosophy with a focus on the “Role of Glutathione S-transferase Genotypes in Signal Integration by GSTP1-JNK, and p53 Pathway in Non-Small Cell Lung Carcinoma” at the Department of Pathology, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences, in collaboration with BBD University, Lucknow (2015-2022), reflects my commitment to advanced medical research. My M.Sc. project at King George’s Medical University delved into an “Age-Dependent study of Aluminum Toxicity in Liver, Kidney, and Brain of male albino rats” (Feb. 2009 – June. 2009). Holding an M.Sc. in Biochemistry from B. U. University Bhopal and a B.Sc. in Chemistry and Botany from V. B. S. Purvanchal University Jaunpur(U.P.), I have consistently demonstrated academic excellence. 🧪🔬🎓

Research Focus

🔬 He research focuses on elucidating the intricate mechanisms underlying the synergistic effects of novel compounds in combating ovarian adenocarcinomas. The study, “Synergistic effect of piperine and paclitaxel on cell fate via cyt-c, Bax/Bcl-2-caspase-3 pathway in ovarian adenocarcinomas SKOV-3 cells” (European Journal of Pharmacology, 2016), explores the interplay of cyt-c, Bax/Bcl-2, and caspase-3 pathways. Additionally, my work extends to innovative therapeutic strategies, as demonstrated in “Synergistic effect of graphene oxide coated nanotised apigenin with paclitaxel (GO-NA/PTX): A ROS dependent mitochondrial mediated apoptosis in ovarian cancer” (Anti-Cancer Agents in Medicinal Chemistry, 2017). These studies contribute valuable insights into potential treatment modalities for ovarian cancer. 🔍🧪
