She completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Science in 2021, securing a strong academic record. Dr. Seemadevi has actively contributed to both academic and practical fields through research, community health initiatives, and her professional expertise in areas such as extraction, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and oral prophylaxis. Dr. T. Seemadevi completed her schooling at Bharath English High School, Ariyankuppam, where she achieved an impressive 91.6% in her Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC). She furthered her education at Seventh-Day Adventist Hr. Sec. School, Marapalam, where she graduated with an 86.83% in her Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) in 2016. Dr. Seemadevi pursued her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) at Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Science, completing it in 2021 with a 75.7% score. Her academic journey has been marked by excellence, particularly in disciplines such as Anatomy, Biochemistry, Prosthodontics, and Public Health Dentistry, where she received multiple distinctions. Currently, Dr. Seemadevi is furthering her education as a Postgraduate student in the Department of Public Health Dentistry at NIMS Dental College & Hospital, Jaipur, honing her expertise and preparing for a promising career in dental public health.

Dr. T. Seemadevi’s research focus is primarily centered around public health dentistry and the advancement of preventive dental care. Her work addresses various crucial issues, including smoking trends and awareness among university students, innovative approaches to treating dental conditions, and improving oral health education. She is particularly interested in exploring the effectiveness of novel biomimetic agents for enamel remineralization and the prevention of dental caries, with a focus on white spot lesions. Dr. Seemadevi’s research also delves into the impact of digital media on dental health education, as seen in her work on the analysis of YouTube videos related to diet and dental caries. In addition, she has conducted interventional studies on the effectiveness of child model videos versus conventional education in improving oral health awareness among orphanage children. Her research aims to enhance the quality of dental care and increase awareness about preventive measures in underserved communities.
