In 1999, Prof. Yawara Eguchi embarked on his journey in medicine, graduating from the School of Medicine at Niigata University, Japan. Following his graduation, he dedicated himself to furthering his expertise through rigorous training. From April to September 1999, he pursued residency training at Tokyo Medical and Dental University, gaining invaluable clinical experience. Subsequently, from October 1999 to September 2000, he continued his residency at Omiya Red Cross Hospital, honing his skills and expanding his knowledge in orthopaedic surgery. These formative years laid the foundation for Prof. Eguchi’s illustrious career, marked by his unwavering commitment to excellence in patient care and research. 🎓🏥

Employment

From October 2000 to March 2001, Prof. Yawara Eguchi enriched his practice at Kawakita General Hospital, focusing on general orthopaedics. He then delved into academia, pursuing a postgraduate course in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Tokyo from April 2002 to March 2006. Concurrently, he gained further clinical experience at Kanazawa Hospital (2005-2006), Chiba Prefectural Sawara Hospital (2006-2007), and Kimitsu chuou Hospital (2007-2008), specializing in general orthopaedics. His dedication to spine surgeries led him to Royal Adelaide Hospital as an AOSpine fellow (2011) and later to the Spine Center at Matsudo city Hospital (2011-2013). From 2013 to 2019, Prof. Eguchi conducted spine surgeries and clinical research at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Shimoshizu National Hospital. In 2019, he assumed the esteemed position of Professor at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Center for Orthopaedic Science Medical Innovation, Graduate School of Medicine, Chiba University, where he continues to inspire and innovate in orthopaedic surgery. 🏥👨‍⚕️
