Prof. Teng Ben is a distinguished professor at the Institute of Advanced Fluorine-containing Materials, Zhejiang Normal University, Jinhua, China. He obtained his Bachelor and Ph.D. degrees from Jilin University in 1997 and 2002, respectively. Following his graduation, Prof. Ben joined the Department of Chemistry at Jilin University, where he later earned the prestigious Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Fellowship, allowing him to conduct postdoctoral research at Nagoya University. His career advanced rapidly, culminating in his appointment as a professor at Jilin University in 2010 and later as the Tang Au-Chin Distinguished Professor. In 2021, he joined Zhejiang Normal University. Prof. Ben’s groundbreaking research has garnered significant recognition, including the First Prize of Science and Technology Progress in Jilin Province (2012) and the First Prize for Natural Sciences in Jilin Province (2017).

His work encompasses the fabrication of porous organic material membranes, carbonation of porous organic materials, and the preparation and application of crystalline porous organic salts. His innovative research in these areas has led to significant advancements and applications in materials science.
