Dr. Sunanda Biswas has been actively involved in various initiatives aimed at promoting soil health and agricultural sustainability. ๐ฑ As a member of the organizing committee, she orchestrated week-long activities, including symposiums, guest lectures, and field days, to commemorate World Soil Day 2022. Additionally, she contributed to the distribution of soil health cards to farmers in Nadia district of West Bengal and Varanasi district of Uttar Pradesh, derived from her work on a SERB, DST funded project. Through field visits and engagement in programs like “Mera Gaon Mera Gaurav,” she disseminated knowledge on technological advancements in nutrient management and fertilizer application. ๐ Dr. Biswas’s expertise further shines through her participation as an expert member in Krishi Melas, facilitating scientist-farmer interactions and offering solutions to agricultural challenges. ๐พ
