Dr. Rajwinder Kaur is an esteemed professor and researcher with over 16 years of experience in pharmaceutical education and research. She currently holds the position of Assistant Dean for the PharmD Program at Chitkara University, Rajpura. Dr. Rajwinder Kaur has an extensive academic background in pharmaceutical sciences. She completed her B. Pharm with distinction from A.S.B.A.S.J.S.M. College of Pharmacy in 2004 and her M. Pharm from Rajiv Academy for Pharmacy in 2007. She earned her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Panjab University, Chandigarh in 2014. Additionally, she holds multiple postgraduate diplomas, including in Clinical Trial, Research & Administration, and Guidance and Counselling.

Dr. Kaur’s professional journey spans various prestigious institutions. She began as a lecturer at Polytechnic Institute for Women, Ropar, and later joined Panjab University as a Project Fellow and CSIR-SRF. She has also served as a Women Scientist under the DST-WOS(A) scheme. Her recent roles include Assistant Professor at Chandigarh University, and Associate Professor, Professor, and Assistant Dean at Chitkara University.

Dr. Kaur’s research interests lie in computer-aided drug design and the discovery of new chemical entities. Her focus areas include the development of novel adenosine receptor ligands, anti-inflammatory agents, antiasthmatics, and neuroprotective compounds. She also explores natural products for treating diseases like dengue and cerebral ischemic injury.
