🎓 Dr. Abubakar Siddique pursued his Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Power Systems, at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, North China Electric Power University (NCEPU), Beijing, China, from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, he completed his Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering (Power) from the Department of Electrical Engineering at UCET, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Punjab, Pakistan, during 2011-2013. His academic journey began with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering (Power) from the same institution, UCET, from 2007 to 2011. Dr. Siddique’s diverse educational background underpins his expertise in the field.

Work Experience

👨‍🏫 Dr. Abubakar Siddique boasts a rich teaching and professional journey that spans various esteemed institutions and roles. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Electrical and Biomedical Engineering Department at Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering & Information Technology (KFUEIT) in Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan, since September 2019, he imparts his expertise to aspiring engineers. Additionally, he holds the esteemed position of Directorship at the High Voltage Laboratory at KFUEIT since 2021. Prior to this, Dr. Siddique served as a Lecturer at both The Islamia University Bahawalpur and Quaid-e-Azam College of Engineering Technology, contributing significantly to academic development. His professional journey commenced as a Site Engineer at ENMASSE M.E Consultant and Joint Venture in Multan, showcasing his practical engineering experience.

🔬 Dr. Abubakar Siddique’s research interests encompass advanced dielectric materials, high voltage insulating testing technology, and perovskite solar cell (PSC) technology. With a focus on exploring innovative materials and techniques, he contributes significantly to the development of high-performance insulation systems and renewable energy solutions. Additionally, his expertise extends to electrical power distribution systems and microgrids, where he explores sustainable and efficient methods of energy distribution and management. Dr. Siddique’s multidisciplinary approach and dedication to cutting-edge research in these areas underline his commitment to advancing technology for a more sustainable and electrified future.
