Ayat-Allah Bouramdane is an Assistant Professor (Grade A) at the International University of Rabat (IUR), where she works in the Laboratory of Renewable Energies and Advanced Materials (LERMA). With a focus on renewable energy systems, climate change, and sustainability, she has an extensive background in research, teaching, and supervision. She previously served as a postdoctoral researcher at the Green Energy Park (GEP) and led the Modeling Group at the Institute for Research in Solar and New Energies (IRESEN). Bouramdane earned her Ph.D. in 2021 from the Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris) in the field of energy, focusing on the integration of solar and wind energy in Morocco and the impact of storage, costs, and climate change. Prior to this, she completed a Master’s in Energy Environment from École Polytechnique in 2018. Her academic journey began at the Université Internationale de Rabat, where she graduated with a degree in Energy Engineering in 2017. Bouramdane also spent a semester at the University of Lorraine, France, gaining valuable international exposure.

Experience

Since April 2023, Bouramdane has served as Assistant Professor at IUR, focusing on research, teaching, and supervising students in renewable energy. From January to October 2022, she was a Postdoctoral Researcher at GEP-IRESEN-UM6P, where she led the Modeling Group and coordinated key energy research projects. Her doctoral research, conducted at IP Paris and École Polytechnique, explored large-scale integration of renewable energy systems in Morocco. She has also been involved in collaborative projects with institutions like the École des Mines de Paris, focusing on energy transition and climate change.

Bouramdane has received several prestigious accolades, including the “Best Researcher Award” in November 2023 at the International Research Awards on Civil and Environmental Engineering.
