👨‍🏫 Dr. Makoto Asashima holds esteemed positions across several prestigious institutions in Japan. Serving as a Professor at Yokohama City University within the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, as well as at The University of Tokyo’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, his expertise spans diverse academic realms. Dr. Asashima also assumes leadership roles, directing the Research Center for Stem Cell Engineering at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). Moreover, he contributes significantly as a Research Professor and Director at the Advanced Comprehensive Research Organization of Teikyo University since April 2021.
