Dr. Leelavathi completed her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the SRM Institute of Science and Technology in November 2023, focusing on constructing g-C3N4-based heterojunction photocatalysts. Prior to that, she earned her M.Phil. from R. V. Govt. Arts & Science College in 2020 and her M.Sc. from Loyola College in 2019, with significant achievements in each program.

As a Research Assistant Professor at Chennai Institute of Technology since March 2024, Dr. Leelavathi has been actively involved in teaching and mentoring students. During her M.Phil. and Ph.D. studies, she trained several master’s and undergraduate students, enhancing their research skills and knowledge in the field of chemistry.
