She obtained her Ph.D. in Fisioterapia from Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCAR) in 2013, under the guidance of Advisor Stela Márcia Mattiello, supported by a grant from Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP). Prior to her doctoral studies, she completed a Master’s in Psicobiologia at Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP) in 2009, mentored by Monica Levy Andersen.
