She obtained her Ph.D. in Fisioterapia from Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCAR) in 2013, under the guidance of Advisor Stela Márcia Mattiello, supported by a grant from Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP).
