Sina Raeisi, PhD, is a Clinical Biochemist and researcher at the Pediatric Health Research Center, Tabriz University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), Iran. Dr. Raeisi completed his PhD in Clinical Biochemistry at TUMS (2012-2017), where he also earned his MSc in Clinical Biochemistry from Urmia University of Medical Sciences (2006-2010). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences from TUMS (2004-2006) and an Associate degree in the same field (2002-2004). His academic journey has been marked by excellence, and he has been involved in cutting-edge research throughout his educational career, particularly in molecular diagnostics and biochemistry.

Dr. Raeisi has held several key roles in both research and clinical laboratory settings. Since 2017, he has been a researcher at the Pediatric Health Research Center, TUMS, where he is responsible for experimental design, data analysis, proposal writing, and manuscript preparation. He also teaches biochemistry and mentors students across various levels. Prior to this, he worked as a Lab Analyst at Tabriz Children Hospital and Tabriz Genetic Analysis Center (2008-2012), performing diagnostic tests, preparing samples, and contributing to molecular diagnostic innovations.

Dr. Raeisi has been recognized for his academic and research achievements. Notable honors include the Distinguished Student Award from TUMS in both 2004 and 2016. He was a member of the Talented Students Office at TUMS (2014-2017). Additionally, he received the Best Scientific Paper Award at the 15th International Congress of Nephrology, Dialysis, and Transplantation (2015), and the International Basic Science Mentee-Mentor Award (1000 USD) at the 14th Transplantation Science Symposium in Australia (2015).
