With chemistry as a subsidiary subject, he earned first-class honors for his dissertation titled “A Study of Some Physical, Chemical, and Biological Aspects of Randenigala Reservoir, Sri Lanka.” ๐ Furthering his educational pursuits, he obtained a Diploma in Japanese Language from Hiroshima University in 1996, followed by an M.Sc. in Life Environmental Science from Ehime University, Japan, and a Ph.D. in Integrated Collage of Agriculture, specializing in Microbial Ecology and Ecotoxicology. His research on cyanobacteria decomposition holds profound implications for environmental conservation.
