José earned his BSc in Geographic Information Science, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a GPA of 3.73, and a minor in Business Administration from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi. He then completed an MSc in Geospatial Systems Engineering, specializing in Geosensing Systems and UAS for Geomatics, achieving a perfect GPA of 4.0. José has accumulated valuable experience as a PhD Graduate Researcher at the MANTIS Laboratory, where he implements close-range photogrammetric techniques for coastal mapping and uses remote sensing for innovative geospatial solutions.
