Her postgraduate training includes an Internal Medicine Residency at Seton Hall University (2012-2015) and a Hematology-Oncology Fellowship at SUNY Upstate Medical University (2015-2018).

Dr. Basnet serves as the Fellowship Program Director for the Division of Hematology Oncology at SUNY Upstate Medical University since June 2023.
