Building upon this foundation, I furthered my expertise by undertaking a Masters in Clinical Psychology at the same esteemed institution. Prior to my university education, I completed my secondary schooling at Chung Cheng High School and pursued my pre-university education at Nanyang Junior College, where I obtained my GCE ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level certificates, respectively. 🎓 This educational trajectory has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of human behavior and the skills necessary to provide effective psychological support.

Work Experience

As a Senior Clinical Psychologist at the Institute of Mental Health, I play a multifaceted role that encompasses both clinical practice and research endeavors. Together with my team, I have spearheaded the establishment of innovative services, including internet-based cognitive behavioral therapy for various disorders like Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and depression, as well as traditional therapies for psychosis. I am actively involved in numerous research projects, exploring diverse topics ranging from trauma therapies to cognitive behavioral interventions for psychosis. Additionally, I lead the Friday Assessment Team, oversee medical records audits, and conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities. My responsibilities also extend to comprehensive psychological assessments across clinical and forensic settings, covering areas such as intellectual functioning, neuropsychology, and personality assessments. 🧠✨
