Dr. Janajreh earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering Science and Mechanics from Virginia Tech in May 1998, focusing on wavelet analysis of atmospheric wind load. He holds a Master of Science in Engineering Science and Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, and another Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, all from Virginia Tech. His undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering is from Jordan University of Science and Technology.

Since January 2022, Dr. Janajreh has held the position of Professor and Associate Department Chair at Khalifa University. Prior to this, he served in various academic and research roles, including Professor at Masdar Institute and visiting positions at MIT. His industrial experience includes roles at Michelin and Parametric Solutions Inc., contributing to projects in wind engineering and CFD analysis.
